I've had T-Mobile for 8 years and have never had any issues when it came to signal strength or dropped calls until August 09.  

Since August, all 5 phones (consisting of blackberries, myTouch3G, G1, and Nokias) have experienced this same issue and it's really starting to piss me off.  In a span of 5 miles around my residence, I used to get a minimum of 3 bars of signal strength.  Now, on ALL of the phones, I get 1 bar (2 if I'm lucky).

I've called in this problem many times and they claim to have engineers looking into it but I've not heard any updates.  In October, on one call to a CSR, I found out a tower was down in my area and they said they'd call me with results of a test -- no call received as of yet.

I'm seriously considering a move to Verizon.  If you're a Verizon rep contact me and we'll talk plans.
